Once upon a time I wrote a theme for the SDC (Sandbox Design Competition). It was a very nice learning experience and, even though I did not score even one single point from the judges, I am glad I did it. The result of my efforts in the SDC is the SAZI (Stone Age Zen Industrial) theme. It is a child theme of the Sandbox theme and as such requires that the Sandbox be present in your themes directory to work.
Version 1.0
In my haste to enter this theme into the competition I missed a couple of bugs in it. I keep Version 1.0 of SAZI here for historical reasons, mainly as a happy reminder of the time I spent in the SDC. It zip file is exaclty the same theme that was entered into the contest and I would advise using a newer version. This version is purely CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) based.
Version 1.01
Version 1.0.1 is a bugfix of version 1.0 of the SAZI theme. I had fixed a couple of bugs that I found in the original, among them was a problem with smilies floating to the side. Unfortuantely I no longer remember what I fixed in this version. This is also a CSS only version of the theme.
Version 1.1
Version 1.1 is not available for download yet. I am still working on it, ermm, I’ve just renewed my efforts and started working on it again. This will be the first version of the theme to also include functions.php and use some logic in addition to CSS. Hopefully it will be finished soon, but taking into consideration how much WordPress has added since then I think it may take a bit for me to get caught up.
